We founded Parksville Community Garden Society in 1998 with a vision to create a space where people could come together and connect with nature. We’ve grown into a vibrant community of gardeners, we are volunteers who are passionate about sustainability and community building.
Our garden is a beautiful, thriving oasis that’s home to 37 gardening plots, a wide variety of vegetables, fruits, herbs, butterflies and flowers. We use organic methods to grow our produce and we’re always experimenting with new techniques and crops.
NOTE:
At the present time all gardening plots have been assigned.
We currently are not accepting new applicants , we have 15+ individuals on a waitlist.
We grow and donate a variety of vegetables to the Food Bank and Soup Kitchen in Parksville.
We strive to contribute and make a positive difference in our community.
